Disneyland Take 2!!!

After a morning of visiting family in the O.C., we decided to stop by the happiest place on earth...again!  We ended up riding THREE new rides for Coop; The Sun Wheel, Pirates, and Peter Pan!  He LOVED the sun wheel (video at bottom), and he just woke up as we were getting onto Peter Pan.  He got a little concerned after the second drop in Pirates, but got over it in a jiffy.  It was funny to see his face.  The weather was perfect again, and we had a good time!

We found this sign in California Adventure

Ya Peter Pan!

Disneyland!!

We decided to go to Disneyland one random Wednesday, partly because I miss it a lot and partly because the weather was nice, and partly because Andy finally had a day off.  I had a good time.. I found both mother's care places, and they were super nice!!  I will always plan on changing Cooper there unless he has an accident!  Andy was a bit peeved because 1: His french onion soup was raised 3$ in price. 2: The Mission tortilla factory was giving out corn tortillas instead of flour which he likes better, and 3: NO MORE SWIRLED ICE CREAM!!! BOOOOO!!!  That used to be my fav too on the boardwalk at DCA.  Now it is just chocolate or vanilla ice cream.  LAME!  But other then that, it was quite a good day! PS: thank you Aunty Lisa for the Angels onsie!!  Coop rocked it!

Cooper waited in line to meet Winnie the Pooh.  He was actually quite curious and didn't cry or scream.  Maybe next time!

Cooper's first ride ever was Winnie the Pooh's Adventure.  I think he was a little scared, but he made it through!

Someone had fun on his second ride... DUMBO!!!!

Coop found our stone!!!

And.... he's spent! Such an angel!

Vacation with Uncle Ass (Jimmy)

So, Cooper and I decided to take a little vacation and bug Uncle Jimmy on his spring break.... fun times!  Jimmy had to study most of the time, so Cooper and I visited some of my friends and hung out one day with Auntie Lisa (she has some super good pics of Cooper in a "spring garden" at the Easter Bunny area of South Coast Plaza... gotta get them!)  We had fun, even though we did get asked by a security guard to please stop taking pictures of Cooper and to stop letting him sit on the display.  Whatever, I was holding him the entire time because I didn't want to wreck anything or have him get dirty... geeeez!  Thank you Uncle Jimmy for letting us stay with you.... no, actually, you should thank us for entertaining you, eating your food, taking baths on your stove, making you get me yogurt, making you help me carry Cooper's stuff in... you know, all the good stuff in life!!!

Jimmy and Cooper in front of Bubba Gumps in Long Beach... and yes, Jimmy knew the husband of our waitress, he knows everyone I guess.... just like Dad!

What a dork! Long Beach downtown. It was very pretty, I wish it wasn't as cold and there were more things to do at the Pike!

Easter, the basket Jimmy gave Cooper.... how did it end up on his head??  Mature Jimmy, real mature!

First Easter

Easter 2010.... Cooper's first!!!!  He had a fun day for sure!!  He didn't really get the whole egg thing at all.  In fact, the first egg he "found" ended up being Mochi's egg.  She guarded that thing almost all day, and wasn't too happy when Cooper took a picture with it.  Pretty funny!  Coop was spoiled rotten by the "Easter Bunny", but he sure does like his new things!  His pirate shoes, punk blanket, new books too name a few.  My favorite thing... his outfit of course!  I love his little sweater vests!  He seems to not mind them, as they are one of the few things that fit easily over his big dome!  I can't wait for him to be able to do an egg hunt next year!
