End of March in a nutshell.....
Parker and me at Disneyland in Fantasyland, it was hot and crowded that day, we didn't stay too long.
Cooper is beginning to like Mickey Mouse... FINALLY!!! YAY
We have a roller... a mover! Parker roller over a whole month before Cooper did, and he just kept going. He is very good at rolling and keeping his head up. Now sitting is a little more challenging for him. He is top heavy!
Happy St. Patrick's Day
Little man! He's 10.5 lbs now!! Im sure by his 6 month he will be over 11 lbs for sure!
As I sit here pumping (sorry if it is tmi, but I have nothing better that I can do besides either read, or work on things online). Pumping is my quiet time, but it is also a time where I can get things, like blogs... bills, messages to friends, download and upload photos, ect done. I have become quite efficient in the time it takes to pump to getting things done. When Andy is gone, it is quite an adventure!! I have Cooper taking everything out of the drawers and cabinets, and Parker feels it is time to be vocal or playful. I just have to suck it up and do what I need to get done. It has its way of working out, even if I have to cleanup a ginormous mess after. Oh well.
Ok, so what was I going to write about before I went course... oh, my sick toddler. I swear, is it normal for a toddler to be sick every month of the year??!! We almost made it through March and then he gets a cold. I am thankful it is a cold so far and hopeful it won't be anything else, but that poor kid cannot breath and every time I make him blow his nose (which he is excellent at) he gets tears in his eyes. Almost like allergies, but it's not. His nose is a runny faucet and his head must feel so full of crap, I feel so bad that I cannot give him any medicine to alleviate the stuffiness... at least he is a trooper!
I am just praying that nobody else gets it...especially Parker!
January was the stomach flu, Feb was a cold, March is a cold... although I would MUCH rather have the colds then the flus! Man, that stomach flu was horrible! Of course, it started when Andy was at work, at 3 am...when Parker was awake as well. I thought it was something he ate, but it wasn't because a few days later, I got it too. It sucked because I still had to function because Andy went back to work. That was hard because it wasn't my stomach so much as the body aches and fever. What doesn't kill you, only proves to yourself that you are getting better as a mom. I still think that it is crazy how before I had Cooper, I still had all these intentions to keep my life the same and drag him along to my functions because I saw others do it. Ya right!! The second I saw him, my priorities changed and so did my life obviously. It has evolved even more with Parker. I sit back and watch, perhaps judge, others and what they intend to do versus what I know will really happen and I kind of chuckle because I realize I was that person. I guess everyone must learn for themselves. It is difficult to give advice because what works for me, may not work for others and their children.... and vise versa. And I don't want to look like the loser who doesn't know what she is talking about.
Anyways, I plan on winning the lottery tonight!! I plan on paying off our house and our parent's houses. Then I plan on huge savings for the boys (for college, their families, and life in general) investing money in houses around the world.... but a main one down in the OC around the places I love to be at. Of course we would get bad-ass cars, and I would start my own skating company! That would be good enough for now I would say. I love that I can dream so well!!
The Hunger Games was an amazing movie and an even better book series!! Yes, I gave up a few hours of sleep to read, but oh so worth it. I LOVED it... maybe even better then the Twilight series! I also can't wait to go see Titanic in 3d. Don't judge... it is one of my most fav movies of all time!! Yes, I even wanted to skate to the soundtrack and I memorized Celine Dion's song in like a day. I just love it, plain and simple.
